Recruitment Numbers: 10,000 Total(5,000 Cases, 5,000 Controls)

Vietnam recruitment is overseen by the project management team led by Dr. Thi Minh Tam Ta and Dr. Nguyễn Văn Phi from Hanoi Medical University. Dr. Thi Minh Tam Ta is a psychiatrist and professor from Hanoi Medical University. Dr. Ta’s main research focus is on genomic studies of Vietnamese psychiatric patients. She spent over 10 years to build the research network in Vietnam and had successfully led the clinical study in recruiting over 1,000 schizophrenia patients throughout Vietnam. In our project, Dr. Ta will oversee the data collection quality and training process in Vietnam. 
Dr. Nguyễn Văn Phi is the senior psychiatrist from Hanoi Medical University and will be coordinating the recruitment and training. He will be the main contact and will communicate the study updates to the whole team.
